We finally made it to Santorini last night after several days of traveling. On Monday we boarded a 36 hour ferry from Venice to Patras. We arrived in Patras on Wednesday morning (5am) and took a 3 hour bus ride to Athens. We planned on hopping on another ferry to Santorini that day, however, we had already missed the only ferry that day. So we stayed the night in Athens, which ended being a good thing; we got a good nights rest. On the 36 hour ferry ride we slept on the floor for two nights, so we were very glad to see a bed :) Then on Thursday morning we boarded another ferry (8hours) to Santorini. We stopped at a few islands along the way giving us a chance to glimpse some of the other islands we hope to visit. Our hotel in Santorini is wonderful. It's family run, and they are so nice and accomodating. There is a pool and we have a little balcony with a wonderful view. We are so excited to be here! While we were in Athens we did get a chance to hop up to the acropolis. Love you all!
