The last part of our time in Great Britain has been spent with our friend Victoria (Cadbury as some may know her) in the midlands, north of London. We have had so much fun catching up with her and seeing a different side of Britain. She lives in Oxford, so we first stopped off there. We didn't see much of Oxford. However we went to Blenheim Palace on Saturday. Blenheim is the birthplace of Churchill and is the most magnificant place I have ever seen! It's so gorgeous and the grounds and gardens were so spactacular! Victoria's wedding present was to treat us to high tea and champagne in the Palace - which was extremely delicious and so special. Chad and I couldn't believe we were enjoying tea and treats in a palace :) On Sunday we went to church with Victoria, which was really nice. Everyone there was extremely friendly. Then we went on to Warwick Castle. Warwick was very interesting and pretty touristy. Lots of kids running around sword fighting and girls with princess outfits on :) The castle is impressive and there were lots of exhibitions on castle life and the important people who lived and visited there. Then on Sunday night we went to Sutton Coldfield where Victoria's family lives. We had a lovely family dinner with the Mountfords. They were so nice and extremely welcoming. They were so interested in our lives in the US and asked us lots of questions :) They were so wondeful, it was very nice to meet them and be welcomed into their home.
