It's peak foliage season here in Massachusetts, and the leaves are gorgeous! I joined the church on a fall foliage hike up in NH a couple weekends ago, but we beat the foliage by about a week. It was still a great hike and a good chance to get outside. We' re excited to head back to Nh this weekend for the all church retreat in Keene, to hear Pastor Eugene speak. Whitney is running the pumpkin carving contest and I'll be performing at the coffee house on Saturday night. We are also taking a real shot at winning the costume contest this year with a great group costume in conjunction with our friends the Ungs. Pictures will of course be forthcoming after this weekend.
Last weekend our good friend Paige dropped in on us after attending a conference at Smith, and we got to spend a great Saturday enjoying fall in the countryside around Boston. We headed out to Ipswich to get some more apples and cider donuts at Russell Orchards, then got some tasty fried clams and fries at, where else, the Clambox! When we came home we were still in a fall mood and got some pumpkin beers and ciders at Sunset Grill before heading to Otto for some delicious pizza!
