Setting up House

Hello Friends!

Chad and I are currently in the exhausting process of setting up house! Last time I wrote, I believe we didn't have any furniture. Just in the last few days we've succeeded in acquiring a kitchen table, two coffee tables, a futon, and three bookcases - all from craigslist. Our craigslist hunting has also helped us to get to know streets and neighborhoods better. We also purchased a bed and mattress (amen) on Monday and have been sleeping soundly ever since. We've also made two trips to IKEA and countless others to Macy's, Target, and Home Depot. Despite not working, we've managed to stay quite busy : )

Chad would like to say something: [extensive portions of what Chad said had to be edited for content, as he was busy cursing the existence of paint, why tape doesn't stick to walls in humidity, and wondering colorfully how anyone could ever want this as a profession...] My wife's amazing! She has been making wonderful dinners considering we're using cardboard for cutting boards, we have one straight-edge knife, and I'm lighting the stove using flint and good looks alone. oh. it's hot.

We are excited to take a break tomorrow and go see more of downtown Boston, especially Beacon Hill and the Irish District (rumours say there's beer there...). We are also contemplating going to "Boston Pops" which is the 4th of July extravaganza. From what we've heard, there's orchestras, bands, fireworks, and more people per square foot than in the queue for the airplane bathroom.

Once the paintings done this place will look great, and as we already have a futon and some extra blankets, all y'all better be coming over soon!
